PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand viewer used for a blood test, usable everywhere at any time by setting the necessary number of test tubes, miniaturizable to the degree enterable into a pocket, and visible brightly. SOLUTION: An apparatus with a built-in light source for irradiating the blood in test tubes with a beam for the blood test by the test tubes is equipped with a viewer body 10 holdable by one hand. A test tube setting part 32 for setting detachably the necessary number of test tubes is provided on one surface of the viewer body 10, and a surface light emitting part 15 for emitting white light into the viewer body is provided so that a fixed quantity of light is hit onto all the test tubes 30, and grip parts 27, 27' are provided on an upper part or a lower part and on another proper spot on the viewer body 10.
