PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device having a high reliability and a low optical loss. SOLUTION: This coupling agent is used for improving close adhesion between a substrate plate and fluorine-containing polyimide film and also forming coupling film presenting between the substrate plate and the fluorine-containing polyimide film, and contains≤3,000 /g number of particles of≥0.5μm.
