<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk whose durability is enhanced, concerning the optical disk wherein a laser beam incident side substrate is made thin, its manufacturing method and the like. <P>SOLUTION: An optical disk includes a first substrate 21 having a signal area SA on a principal plane and a second substrate 12 that is transparent and attached to the first substrate 21. The first substrate and the second substrate are attached to each other with an adhesive member 13 disposed therebetween. The first substrate 21 is provided with a projecting part 22 formed on the one principal plane side and the height of the projecting part 22 is made higher than the sum of the thickness of the second substrate 12 and the thickness of the adhesive member 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
