<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pinball machine which can enhance the attractiveness by the game performances while improving the hourly efficiency of variation keeping the players from feeling loss. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of variation controls is carried out in parallel over a plurality of display regions divided by a plurality of variation control means while a ready for win variable display mode performance control is conducted to display the performance under the ready for win variable display mode in the display region where the variation control is conducted using the ready for win variation pattern that allows the players to feel expectations for the possible occurrence of the specified game state among the plurality of display areas even when the indication of shortening operation is detected.
