摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass reflecting mirror for a projector which has heat resistance and excellent precision of reflecting surface and is low-cost even in such a reflecting mirror that the temperature on the glass surface becomes extremely high. SOLUTION: The glass reflecting mirror for a projector comprises a reflecting surface part which is made of amorphous glass having thermal expansion coefficient of (30 to 45)×10<SP>-7</SP>/°C and reflects light emitted from a light source and an opening part through which a light source valve or a lead wire to the light source valve is inserted. Further, in the glass reflecting mirror for the projector, the surface of the opening part is flattened by etching after boring processing and, thereby, mechanical damages on the processing part are eliminated.
