PURPOSE: An array substrate, a method for fabricating the array substrate, and an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) having the array substrate are provided to prevent light leakage and reduce defects due to contaminations and shocks by burying a contact hole connecting a pixel electrode to a switching element. CONSTITUTION: An array substrate includes a substrate(120), a switching element, an organic layer(114), a pixel electrode(112), and a protruded part(110a). The switching element is formed on the substrate. The organic layer is formed on the substrate including the switching element and includes a contact hole exposing a part of the switching element. The pixel electrode is formed on a part of the surface of the organic layer and the inner side of the contact hole and connected to the switching element. The protruded part is disposed on the pixel electrode, corresponding to the contact hole and protruded from the pixel electrode while burying the contact hole.
