<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater capable of maintaining temperature of hot water to be supplied at a fixed temperature even if hot water of a hot water storage tank is used up and temperature of the water supplied from the hot water storage tank is suddenly lowered. <P>SOLUTION: This water heater 2 is provided with a mixing unit 6 for mixing hot water with city water to lower temperature of the hot water, and a heating device 8 for raising temperature of the hot water. A fixed ratio of city water from a branch pipe 40 is mixed with the hot water from the hot water storage tank 4, and supplied to the mixing unit 6. When the hot water of the hot water storage tank 6 is used up, since temperature of the hot water flowing into the mixing unit 6 gradually changes, temperature adjustment of the hot water by the mixing unit 6 and a heating device 8 excellently cope with a temperature change to maintain the hot water temperature at a fixed temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
