PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blasting method and a blasting device for providing satisfactory manufacture efficiency, reducing manufacturing cost, forming a pattern of a precise and minute recessed part, and also forming a recessed part on an inner face of a hollow part of a hollow cylindrical member. SOLUTION: This blasting device 10 has: a masking member 40 like a cylindrical sheet in which a pattern of a through hole 41 is formed and which is freely brought in and out of the hollow part 21 of the hollow cylindrical member W; a shot blast device 50 for projecting gas 52 containing hard particles 51; and a holding means 60 for holding the masking member inserted into the hollow part while it adheres closely to at least a machining region facing gas 52 projected from the shot blast device among inner faces of the hollow part. Hard particles collide against the inner face of the hollow part through the through hole of the adhered masking member, and the recessed part is formed by a pattern matching with the pattern of the through hole on the inner face of the hollow part.
