<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To offer a motor controller which can prevent the oscillation of the output of an electric motor and can output large torque from the electric motor at need. <P>SOLUTION: An ECU8 for turn gets a deviation between the target rotating angle of a steering actuator M1 (three-phase brushless motor) given from a main ECU7 and the actual rotating angle of the steering actuator M1 detected by a rotating angle sensor 3, and performs PI control operation, with its deviation as an input signal, and controls the steering actuator M1, based on the results of this PI control operation. In case that the deviation between the target rotating angle and the actual rotating angle is larger than a preset threshold α, the gain of the PI control operation is set to a relatively large value, and in case that the deviation between the target rotating angle and the actual rotating angle is at or under the threshold α, the PI control gain is set to a relatively small value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
