DESCALING DEVICE FOR STEEL SHEET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a descaling device for a steel sheet which can remove scale efficiently. SOLUTION: The descaling device removes scales on the steel sheet 100 by the impact of water jetted from a nozzle 1 onto the surface of the steel sheet 100. The nozzle 1 used jets the water such that the impact force of the water against the steel sheet 100 on the impact face of both the longitudinal ends is nearly equal to the impact force at nearly the central part in the longitudinal direction of the steel sheet 100. Further, the distance between the surface of the steel sheet 100 and the tip of the nozzle 1 is set to be 100mm or more and 175mm or less. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
