<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woody reinforcing structural member and a reinforcing structure for a building which can easily and inexpensively reinforce an existing structure after construction by increasing the strength and rigidity of a woody structural member and the strength of the whole building. <P>SOLUTION: This woody reinforcing structural member comprises an anchoring metallic material 4 and a compression imparting body 5; the metallic materials 4 are equipped with a pair of undersurface-fixed plates 4a which are fixed to an undersurface at least at a distance from both ends of the woody structural member 3 to a connection worked part, compressive plates 4b which form opposed surfaces suspended perpendicularly to the axial direction of a horizontal member S from the respective plates 4a and wherein a through-hole h is formed in its almost central position, and reinforcing plates 4c for connecting the compressive plates 4b and the plates 4a together; and the body 5 comprises a connecting rod 5a for connecting the opposed compressive plates 4b together, and a fastening member 5b for pulling the paired compressive plates 4b to a central side by fastening the connecting rod 5a with a screw. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
