LOCKING DEVICE MAINTAINING HIGH PRESSURE FOR COFFEE MAKER LID

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device maintaining high pressure in a coffee maker, and a method for carrying out locking operation of the coffee maker with one hand.

SOLUTION: This locking device comprising a slide assembly, a sealing assembly and a lifting assembly can maintain pressure up to 4 bars. The method comprises (a) a step of using one hand to put a lever forward to release the lock which is controlled by a slider and three members of a brew base wherein the back-and-forth movement of the slider will produce the action of locking and releasing of a brew head; (b) a step of moving the lever forward or pushing the slider forward by a push rod on the slider to release the brew head or pushing the lever backward to push the slider back to lock the brew head; and (c) a step of releasing the brew head, moving a lift platform upward by a lift platform spring and turning a lid mount backward by a hinge spring.
