PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge mechanism capable of bending around a thin walled section as an axis so that the thin-walled section is linearly formed on a resin plate member. SOLUTION: Regarding a hinge mechanism, a slit 4 is formed between a pair of flat plate members 1 and 2 via the thin-walled section 3 arranged at predetermined spaces, and a projected pedestal section 5 extending to an end face 2c direction of other flat plate member 2 is projected onto an end face of one flat plate member 1 located within the slit, and the projected pedestal is kept into contact with the end face of the flat plate member where the projected pedestal section is not formed, during its rotating movement when one flat plate member is rotated around the thin-walled section.
