<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of local friction in sliding and to lower sliding resistance due to the friction by reducing uneven contact with a sliding surface. <P>SOLUTION: Two or more knitting yarns 2 are woven into a braid-like body 3 having a rectangular section. The sectional form of the braid-like body 3 is such that the corner part 4 is projected outward over the middle part of its adjacent side.
