COOLING SYSTEM FOR FLAT GLASS PANEL OF CATHODE RAY TUBE AND METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ENCAPSULATING STUD ON PANEL USING FLAT GLASS PANEL COOLED LOCALLY

PURPOSE: A cooling system for a flat glass panel of a cathode ray tube and a method and an apparatus for encapsulating a stud on a panel are provided to increase productivity of a panel by locally cooling a point of a flat glass panel to be contacted to a supporting pole of a stud encapsulating machine. CONSTITUTION: A flat glass panel(1) is moved through a conveying belt(6). Four points on the flat glass panel are forced to be cooled by a cooling gas distributer(2). The cooling gas distributer is disposed over the conveying belt. The cooling gas distributer comprises a cooling gas inlet(2.1) and four gas nozzles(2.2). The four gas nozzles are directed to the four points on the flat glass panel. The cooling gas inlet is coupled to a cooling gas supply pipe(3). The cooling gas supply pile includes a solenoid and is controlled by a controller(5). An optical sensor(4) detects a position of the flat glass panel to send a position signal to the controller.
