<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contrast ratio calculating method or the like for calculating a contrast ratio of a bright pigment containing paint film, by substitution in a contrast ratio calculation expression with a photoreception angle, paint concentration information and average particle size information. <P>SOLUTION: In this contrast ratio predicting device, the substitution is executed in the contrast ratio calculation expression using, as variables, a paint concentration, an average particle size and the photoreception angle to acquire the contrast ratio of the bright pigment containing paint film. The contrast ratio predicting device has a concentration and particle size database 102 for storing the concentration and particle size information of the bright pigment containing paint film, a concentration and particle size information acquiring means 106 for acquiring the paint concentration information and the average particle size information, referring to the concentration and particle size database 102, and a contrast ratio acquiring means for acquiring the contrast ratio of the bright pigment containing paint film, by the substitution in the contrast ratio calculation expression with the prescribed photoreception angle, and the paint concentration information and the average particle size information acquired by the concentration and particle size information acquiring means 106. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
