An actuating assembly for a weaving loom is described, said assembly comprising at least a first motor for actuating the weaving mechanism with a dual power take-off, the two power take-off points being connected to two opposite sections of a main drive shaft able to move devices for actuating said weaving mechanism which are located respectively on the two sides of the loom.
