LINEAR NITROXIDE-BASED FREE RADICAL AGENT CONTAINING SULFONE AMIDE GROUP AND METHOD FOR POLYMERIZING LIVING FREE RADICAL OF VINYL-BASED POLYMER

PURPOSE: Provided is a linear nitroxide free radical agent including sulfone amide group which enables living free radicals to be polymerized at below 100deg.C so that it helps to produce vinyl polymers with narrow polymer distribution index. CONSTITUTION: The linear nitroxide free radical agent containing the sulfone amide group is represented by formula 1, in which R is OH or alkyl group of C1 to C4; R1, R2 and R3 are independently H or alkyl group of C1 to C4; and n is an integer of 0 or 1-6. In polymerizing vinyl monomer, free radical initiator and free radical agents to produce vinyl polymers, linear nitroxide-based free radical agent containing sulfone amide group is used as the free radical agent.
