PURPOSE: An electrode is provided to increase a radiation area and efficiency of lamp by using an inductive electrode member. CONSTITUTION: An electrode comprises a pair of external electrodes arranged in the vicinity of both ends of a lamp(4); and a pair of inductive electrode members(8) disposed on the external electrodes. Each of the inductive electrode members has an end electrically connected to the external electrode and the other end connected to a power source so as to transmit power supplied from the power source to the external electrode. A spacer(6) is interposed between the external electrode and the inductive electrode member.
