PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data receiving method, its device, and a data transmission system, for appropriately performing settings of a determination level of a signal level, and for realizing the settings by a small circuitry configuration. SOLUTION: A comparator 574 is designed to compare a differential value dd with an ideal value corresponding to the differential value dd. When the differential value dd is larger than the ideal value, the comparator 574 adds a predetermined value to the differential value dd, and updates resisters 576a to 576n which are selected currently. When the differential value dd is smaller than the ideal value, the comparator circuit 574 subtracts a predetermined value from the differential value dd, and updates resisters 576a to 576n which are selected now. A determination level value calculating circuit 572 is designed to calculate determination levels R1 to R13 by using the ideal value set in each of the resisters 576a to 576n, and to store the levels to resisters 577a to 577m included in a determination level storing unit 573.
