PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photothermographic imaging material having high sensitivity and low fog with respect to photographic performances, and to further provide a photothermographic image forming material excellent in storage stability before development (raw stock preservability) and in storage stability after development (image preservability). SOLUTION: In the photothermographic imaging materials each having on a support a photosensitive layer containing photosensitive silver halide grains, an organic silver salt, a reducing agent and a binder and an adjacent layer adjacent to the photosensitive layer, a calix arene compound shown by formula (1) is contained in the photosensitive layer or the adjacent layer.
