METHOD AND DEVICE FOR JUDGING DESIGN OF REACTOR CORE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which a set of limit applicable to judge a core design is defined and a reference core design is produced based on the defined limit. SOLUTION: While the reference core design is performed a repeated improvement process, a subset of original unirradiated fuel bundles are selected for evaluation. The repeated process includes to replace at least one unirradiated fuel bundle selected at least currently unirradiated fuel bundle for every fuel location and to simulate reactor action concerning the reference core design for obtaining a plurality of powers.
