<p>A pair of spectacles, in particular of the type without lens-carrying rims, comprises at least one lens (2) that can be secured directly to a fitting element (4), such as a lug for the articulation of an arm of the spectacles or a central connecting bridge between the lenses, an edge surface (7) between the opposite lens faces (2a, 2b) being defined on the lens, and also at least one attachment element (8) for attaching the fitting to the lens, which is arranged to be locked on the edge surface (7) by the insertion and locking of respective appendages of the attachment element in corresponding blind holes formed radially in the lens at the location of the edge surface of the lens. The spectacles comprises, for the locking of each fitting (4) to the lens, exclusively a single appendage (14) which projects from the attachment element (8) and is capable of being inserted and locked in a single respective blind hole (6) formed radially in the lens through the edge surface (7) thereof, and they also comprise anti-rotation means for preventing the fitting (4) from rotating with respect to the lens about the axis of the hole (6), those means being integrated in the attachment element (8) in order to be active on the edge surface of the lens or on one of the lens faces, as a result of the clamping of the attachment element onto the lens.</p> |
