Feed through flange (1) has five circular openings (3) at regular intervals on flange mid-line, each containing a centered connector pin (5). Pin is hermetically sealed by insulator (7A,B). Each pin also has filter (11) attached to it. Flange is made of metal or allow welded to implanted electrical device and insulator is made of glass, ceramic or mineral. Independent claims included for 1) flange with only one opening to connect unipolar electrode wire of stimulation unit 2) flange with holes alternatively at either side of mid-line, especially suitable for stimulation implant e.g. cochlea implant, 3) flange with one long opening for a number of pins.
