Noise filter and electronic apparatus having the same

The filter (10) has a ground line (74) discharging a short-circuit current generated on an electronic apparatus (75) to ground, and a resistor (11) connected in parallel with an inductor (12). A power supply frequency current passing via the inductor does not pass the resistor. A high frequency noise current flowing from the line into the apparatus, and resonance frequency current are dissipated at the resistor. The resonance current is due to the filter and earth capacitance of the apparatus. An independent claim is also included for an electronic apparatus having a noise filter.
