The invention proposes a device (20) comprising a housing (22), a revolving shaft (44, 46) rotated by a drum (36), and a rotary signals generator (100, T6), of the type in which the shaft is mounted such that it is vertically movable and tilts in both directions so as selectively to provoke the triggering of a first switching way when a force is applied to the center (3 8) of the drum (36), or of a second and a third switching way when a force (F2, F3) is applied in the vicinity of one or other (40, 42) of the two ends of t he drum (36), characterized in that the drum (36, 41, 43) rests vertically directly on a central member (30, 131, B2, 133) common to the three switchin g ways, which bears upon the bottom (56, 28) of the housing (22) and which, fr om a rest position, is selectively elastically deformable under the action of o ne of the vertical orientation forces (Fl, F2, F3).
