PURPOSE: A floor robot for measuring power of battery is provided to inform of the voltage level of a battery when the voltage level is lower than a specific level using an alarm generator or an output device. CONSTITUTION: An operating unit(106) includes an operating button and a stopping button for operating a robot. A microprocessor(100) outputs a signal for driving a left wheel motor(8), a right wheel motor(10) and a mop driving motor(6) by receiving an input signal via the operating unit. An obstacle sensor(102) detects the existence of an obstacle. An A/D converter(112) measures the voltage level of a battery(114). If the voltage of the battery is lower than the voltage for driving the wheels or the same, the operation of the motors is stopped. Then, the low voltage level is informed via an alarm generator(110) or an output device(108).
