PURPOSE: To provide a contaminant separator which not only separates suspended solid efficiently by one separation stand only, but also blocks inflow of contaminated solution in case that a limited value or more of treated solution passes through in such a way that existing separated suspended solid is prevented from being lost. CONSTITUTION: The contaminant separator capable of measuring a flow amount of treated solution comprises a chamber(1) on the side wall of which an inlet(11) and an outlet(12) are formed with being spaced apart from each other in such a manner that a contaminated solution containing suspended solid flows in through the inlet, and a suspended solid removed treated solution flows out through the outlet; a separation stand(2) installed in the chamber and consisted of a flow amount measuring member(21) capable of measuring a flow amount of the treated solution, and a barrier film(22) that enables the treated solution to pass through the flow amount measuring member, but prevents the contaminated solution from passing through the flow amount measuring member; a flow meter(3) capable of confirming a flow amount of the treated solution passing through the flow amount measuring member; and a valve(4) for controlling inflow of the contaminated solution toward the inlet. |
