PURPOSE:To provide the cellulose fiber imparted in a durable W & W property by preliminarily curing a (meth)acrylate compound in the inner parts of the cellulose fiber or on its surface, etc., by the irradiation of electron beams, and subsequently processing the fiber with a resin. CONSTITUTION:A cellulose fiber is immersed in a processing solution containing a (meth)acrylate compound of formula I (R1, R2 are H, CH3; (n) is 1-50; (m) is 0, 1; R3 is H, group of formula II-IV, 1-17C alkyl, 1-17C alkyl-substituted or nonsubstituted phenyl, 1-17C alkyl-substituted or nonsubstituted naphthyl), irradiated with electron beams to cure the compound in the inner parts of the cellulose fiber and/or on its surface, and subsequently post-treating the irradiated fiber with a resin processing agent for cellulose fibers to provide the cellulose fiber excellent in dry and wet crease-resistant property in the early time and after washed, and superior in washing resistance. |
