<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground water cleaning structure capable of efficiently cleaning plurally polluted ground water. <P>SOLUTION: In the ground water cleaning structure 1 comprising a cleaning tank 10 and a water cut-off wall 20, the cleaning tank 10 is formed as a box type that is a hollow rectangular parallelepiped by an outer wall 11 made of concrete. Plurally cleaning regions 30 consisting of three-layered water-permeable ground water cleaning regions are packed in the cleaning tank 10. Further, two sheets of transverse inner walls 12 which are erected at a prescribed interval in the transverse direction of ground water and longitudinal inner walls 13 erected at a prescribed interval in the longitudinal direction are disposed so as to divide respective water-permeable ground water cleaning region in the cleaning tank 10.
