PURPOSE: A system and a method for paying gas expense with a credit card using the RF(Radio Frequency) communication without giving a credit card to an employee are provided to resolve a probability of illegal credit card use by transceiving gas related information and credit card information with an employee terminal, a gas pump, or a gas station center terminal through a car terminal. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises the car terminal(110), the employee terminal(120), and the gas station center terminal(140) processing credit card settlement by connecting to a card company(170) through a VAN(Value Added Network) company(160). The employee terminal transmits the gas related information to the car terminal by using the RF communication. The car terminal reads the inserted credit card, and transmits the gas related information and the credit card information of a driver to the gas station center terminal through the RF communication. The gas station center terminal performs the credit card settlement of a gas expense by using the received gas related information and credit card information.
