PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage device for medical treatment capable of easily replenishing an article for medical treatment and picking a desired article securely and quickly. SOLUTION: This storage device for medical treatment is constituted in such a way that horizontal shelves 2k at many steps are provided so as to advance and retract freely and independently in the forward and backward directions, drug cassettes C which store articles and whose upper parts are opened are loaded on each horizontal shelf 2k, respectively, an elevation conveyor 2o is provided so as to elevate and lower over the horizontal shelves 2k at many steps in a rear part in a storage body 2a, and a tray T whose upper part is opened and which stores an empty patient tray t is loaded on the elevation conveyor 2o. A suction unit 2t taking out the article in the drug cassette C on the horizontal shelf 2k moved backward onto the patient tray t on the elevation conveyor 2o is provided in an upper part of the elevation conveyor 2o. A control means is provided to control in such a manner that the horizontal shelf 2k is moved backward to take out the article onto the patient tray t by the suction unit 2t after elevating the elevation conveyor 2o to a position higher than height of the horizontal shelf 2k of the drug cassette C storing the article to be taken out.
