<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the service property of maintenance and make the maintenance efficient in an image processing device management system. <P>SOLUTION: The system for managing an image processing device 100 by means of a management device 102 possible to communicate with the processing device 100. The management device 102 stores a scheduled maintenance date of the processing device 100 as maintenance information of the processing device 100, and notifies the maintenance date to the processing device 100, before the date of the maintenance data for a prescribed period (S101, S103).
