PURPOSE: To perform accurate light operation by improving frequency characteristics of current to be applied to a semiconductor laser at the time of recording. CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor laser 15 is connected to a recording line which supplies a drive signal for recording and a reproducing line which supplies a drive signal for reproduction. A high frequency superimposing oscillation circuit 34, which is composed of a transistor Q1, resistors R1 and R2, capacitors C1-C4 and coils L1 and L2, is permitted to superimpose the high frequency signal with the drive signal for reproduction and reduce laser noise of reproducing laser beams supplied from the semiconductor laser 15. The oscillation circuit 34 and a unnecessary radiation preventing circuit 17, which is provided on the reproducing line and prevents unnecessary radiation due to driving of a high frequency superimposing oscillation means, are connected to the semiconductor laser 15. The semiconductor laser 15 and the high frequency superimposing oscillation circuit 34 are stored in a shield case 33. |
