ACRYLIC SYNTHETIC FIBER HAVING HIGH DISCHARGE PERFORMANCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acrylic fiber and a pile fabric comprising the same improved particularly in the discharge performance of the fiber subjected to yarn-dyeing in high density without impairing its quality and touch feeling. SOLUTION: The acrylic synthetic fiber is made from an acrylic copolymer≤8.5×104in weight-average molecular weight composed of 35-55 wt.% of acrylonitrile, 44.3-64.3 wt.% of a halogen-containing monomer and≥0.7 wt.% of a sulfo-containing monomer. The pile fabric is obtained by subjecting a pile fabric containing≥10 wt.% of the acrylic synthetic fiber to white-color discharge or color discharge treatment. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
