<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide reflectance calculation method and device of a reflection plate of a reflection type display device by which optimization of a shape which can enhance reflection efficiency can be attained and design predicting change of the diffraction direction and intensity due to difference of wavelengths can be realized and to provide a program. <P>SOLUTION: The reflectance calculation device of a reflection plate of a reflection type display device is provided with a three dimensional shape formation calculating section 111 forming three dimensional shape data from two dimensional layout information of the reflection plate of the reflection type display device inputted from an input device 12 according to a shape forming program stored in a storage device and a wave optic calculating section 112 performing wave optic calculation by approximating the shape of the reflection plate as assembly of minute polygons from the three dimensional shape data obtained by the three dimensional shape formation calculating section 111 according to a wave optic calculating program stored in the storage device and, from its result, calculating reflectance angle distribution of the reflection plate of the reflection type display device in air or a plurality of dielectrics. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
