PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filing cover which can easily change a back width of a cover and can manufacture a pair of cover components with a common manufacturing apparatus. SOLUTION: A cover 10 can vary its back width according to a length wherein a slip-in piece 16 formed in a binding cover component 14, is slipped into a bag-like part 18 of the opening cover member 12, a first front material 22 is connected to a first rear member 20 opposed thereto on their almost peripheral edge. The binding cover component 14 is the filing cover comprising a second front material 62 and a second rear material 60 having almost the same shapes as those of the first front material 22 and the first rear member 20 which constitute the opening cover member 12, and a slip-in peace 16 which is slipped from a slip-in opening part 24 into the bag-like part 18 of the opening cover member 12.
