The fuel injection valve has a housing with a piezoelectric or magnetic actuator which actuates a valve closure in the housing. The valve closure cooperates with a valve seat to form a seal. The valve arrangement also includes a hydraulic coupler comprising a slave piston (9) and a master piston (10) between which is a coupler gap (23). A coupling chamber (12) of the coupler is at least partly filled with gas. Preferably the gas is not soluble in a coupler medium which at least partly fills the coupler.
