FLUORESCENT LAMP, BALLAST-FREE FLUORESCENT LAMP, AND LIGHTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent lamp, a ballast-free fluorescent lamp, and a lighting device with good light flux rising characteristics, capable of surely forming a coldest part even with a change of lighting direction, and improving light distribution characteristics without deteriorating the light flux on a vertical face.

SOLUTION: Of a light emitting tube made by coupling bulb ends themselves of linear parts with a connecting tube so that a plurality of flexed bulbs having linear parts and flexed parts with ends in the same direction make a discharge path, a large non-discharging space is formed at least at one of the linear parts so as to form the coldest part at a cover.
