PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automated system capable of conducting precisely an agglutination assay at a high speed. SOLUTION: This system for conducting the assay having an agglutination or sizing separation means includes the first section for receiving a fluid to be assayed, and the second section for receiving the fluid to be assayed from the first section by applying power for the fluid, favorably, by centrifugal force. The second section includes an element fixed to a support body, and adapted to mix the fluid to capture agglutinated particles. The fluid to be assayed is blood in a favorable embodiment.
