HEAT-INSULATING CEMENT COMPOSITION CONTAINING PORTLAND CEMENT, FLY ASH AND ELVAN

PURPOSE: Provided is a heat-insulating cement composition containing elvan, which has excellent adiabatic performance and crack-resistance as well is safe on humans. CONSTITUTION: The heat-insulating cement composition comprises 15-40 wt% of portland cement, 30-50 wt% of fly ash and 10-30 wt% of elvan powder, wherein the weight ratio of silicon dioxide(SiO2) to alumina(Al2O3) in the composition is 2.5:1-3.5:1. In the composition, blended cements comprising 15-25 wt% of portland cement and 5-14 wt% of early strength cement are employed instead of portland cement. Further, the composition may comprise 1-10 wt% of alum for early strength enhancement when using a large amount of fly ashes, 3-10 wt% of gypsum for accelerated condensation, 0.1-1 wt% of carbon for enhanced strength or other additives, if desired.
