PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To erect erecting legs on the rear ends of horizontal legs, enlarge a space for the lower legs of a sitting person as much as possible, facilitate assembling/disassembling and improve superior design performance. SOLUTION: The leg for furniture is so formed that the rear end of the erecting leg 2 and the rear end of the horizontal legs are roughly matched with each other, and the rear ends are mutually fixed by a fastening screw 19 from the side of the horizontal leg 1. A screw hole 21 threadedly engaged with an adjuster bolt 29 is provided in the lower part of the fastening screw 19 so as to be aligned with the fastening bolt 19 on the same axis, so that the fastening screw 19 can be rotated in a screw hole 21 formed after removing the adjuster bolt 29, via a tool 30.
