PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile agent system enabling transfer of a mobile agent corresponding to various communication protocols. SOLUTION: This mobile agent system performs the transfer of a mobile agent MA formed in a server device S01 to a server device S02 based on an itinerary table MA02 among a plurality of server devices S01-S04 connected through the Internet N03 and a local network N01. The server device S01 comprises a mobile agent server MS for supporting a plurality of communication protocols as the transfer protocol of the mobile agent MA. The mobile agent server MS extracts a proper communication protocol according to the structure of the network between the server device S01 and the server device S02 for the transfer of the mobile agent MA, and transfers the mobile agent MA.
