RUBBERIZED FIBROUS MATERIAL AND PNEUMATIC TIRE

A rubberized fibrous material for use in the reinforcing belt layer of a pneumatic tire. The rubberized fibrous material comprises fibers of a polyketone comprising repeating units represented by the following formula (1): (wherein A is a moiety derived from an ethylenic compound and polymerized through its ethylenic bond; and the A's may be the same or different in the repeating units) and a coating rubber with which the fibers are coated, wherein the coating rubber has a modulus at 100% elongation (room temperature) of 2.5 to 5.5 MPa and has a resilience of 60% or higher. Also provided is a pneumatic tire having a reinforcing belt layer comprising the rubberized fibrous material.
