PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve element driving device for increasing an opening/closing mode for an opening without preventing miniaturization, and surely realizing each mode. SOLUTION: In the valve element driving device, a first disc valve 8 is interlocked with a pinion 512 either in normal rotation when the pinion 512 is rotated clockwise CW or in reverse rotation when the pinion 512 is rotated counterclockwise CCW. On the contrary, in a second disc valve 9, as driving force is transmitted by a circular arc groove 932 of a second gear 93 and an engaging projection 916 of a second valve element 91, the transmission of drive to the second valve element 91 is blocked for a predetermined period when a driving direction is reversed.
