PURPOSE: A fuel for solving problems such as adjustment of inlet manifold suction port, early deterioration of packings and knocking of internal combustion engines and inhibiting emission of CO, HC and NOx contained in exhaust gas is provided. CONSTITUTION: The fuel for substituting gasoline using biomass ethyl alcohol comprises 25 wt.% of alcohol comprising 20 wt.% of ethyl alcohol and 5 wt.% of isopropyl alcohol; and 75 wt.% of gasoline, wherein the fuel comprises alcohol comprising ethyl alcohol and isopropyl alcohol extracted from biomass, and gasoline, wherein a weight ratio of ethyl alcohol extracted from biomass to the total amount of alcohol fuel is 10 to 20 wt.%, a weight ratio of isopropyl alcohol extracted from biomass to the total amount of alcohol fuel is 1 to 10 wt.%, a weight ratio of the alcohol fuel to the total amount of the substitute fuel is 20±5 wt.%, and a weight ratio of existing gasoline to the total amount of the substitute fuel is 80±5 wt.%. |
