PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security system easy to mount and capable of preventing the leaving of a commodity by surely announcing the presence of the commodity left behind to a user, and its program. SOLUTION: This security system comprises a cellular phone 10, a reader/writer 11 loaded in the cellular phone 10, and an IC tag 21 stuck to or installed in a portable commodity 20. The reader/writer 11 communicates with the IC tag 21 every predetermined time. When the communication is impossible, a first alarm is announced by use of the cellular phone 10, and when both become communicable again, a second alarm is announced.
