<p>Component comprises two base parts (1, 2) coupled together by a hinge. An anatomically adapted contact surface (5, 6) is formed on each outer side of the base parts. An independent claim is also included for a base part used in the above component. Preferred Features: A securing unit is formed on the two base parts. The base parts are hinged using coupling parts (11, 12). The coupling part (12) has a sliding surface (14) which fits to a counter sliding surface (15) using a material based on a chromium-nickel alloy.
