SOFT HANDOFF CONVERSION SYSTEM BETWEEN DIFFERENT COMPANIES, CONCERNED WITH REALIZING A SOFT HANDOFF FUNCTION BETWEEN DIFFERENT EXCHANGES

PURPOSE: A soft handoff conversion system between different companies is provided to dispose an Ethernet router and a PCG(Protocol Conversion Gateway) on top of a final interface of each company, and to supply a physical path of each company. CONSTITUTION: An NMS(Network Management System)(10) collects states of a subscriber interface device, and informs an operator of the collected state information. A gigabit router(20) gathers data from small-sized lines connected to the gigabit router(20), and quickly transmits the gathered data while configuring a backbone. A PCG(30) consists of a subscriber interface device board(32) for performing a substantial conversion process of a subscriber interface state, and a system management board(34) for managing the subscriber interface device board(32).
