<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power cable device that can prevent the melting loss of a jumper even if a ground fault accident by a lightning stroke occurs in a power cable of which the jumper is covered with an insulating protection tube. <P>SOLUTION: The power cable device comprises a power-side insulator and a load-side insulator that are installed to an arm protruded from a power cable supporting tower column by coupling members; a power-side cable supporting fixture and a load-side cable supporting fixture that are installed to the power-side insulator and the load-side insulator, respectively; the power cable supported by the power-side cable supporting fixture and the load-side cable supporting fixture; and the insulating protection tube that is attached to the jumper between the power-side cable supporting fixture and the load-side cable supporting fixture of the power cable so as to cover the jumper, and is formed of an insulating material.
